How to make an actor invulnerable to normal weapon damage?

What I would like to do is make weapon (all weapons, but only weapons) damage values obsolete. That is that I want them to cause absolutely no harm to anything they hit no matter how high their damage value is set.

I would like for any and all damage done by a weapon strike to be placed by a script or magic effects. In other words, I want an actor in Daedric armor to never be pinged to death by spitwads... even if hit by a ten thousand of them.

Is there a way to cancel out the normal damage done by weapons dynamically?

In Gameplay > Settings you can try setting the fMaxArmorRating to 100 instead of 80, which should result in armor being able to block max. 100% of incoming damage.

Is there a way to make a completely unarmored actor have a natural 100% armor rating/weapon resistance?

Not sure about dynamically, but in the CK you can change the damage values of the weapons there to 0.

I was hoping to avoid that, though... especially for modular reasons, haha! :-P

I didn't know if I could add something to an OnHit script that would give temporary immunity to normal damage from weapons :-P

Hmm, is there a setting that determines the amount of damage absorption when blocking?
