I've been dangerously using the CK without autosave. I had no idea there was a function like that in there.

With how touchy the CK is on creating unintended changes, i think an autosave might do more harm than good :P I just manually save everytime i finish an area, and make sure theres no asterisk before I start working XD

That's me, I saw the autosave, tried it for five minutes before I realized I was reloading my mod every 30 mins or so anyways to bypass unwanted changes. Just like when I played OB, save and save frequently!

The work I do for a living made me a Ctrl+S maniac years ago. Thanks for pointinig out the autosave anyway, didn't notice it.

Also, in case it helps someone with the idea, I also create a backup of my mod whenever I feel confident with it. Normally before I open the CK for another session of editing. I store the backups on a separate folder, and rename the file to something like this:

filename-20120220-0955.esp

So, in case something bad happens, I can go back to it. I know the CK also makes backups but... I trust more on my own backups.
