Scripter needed!

HI, Im making Katars for my mod "Moar Kontent" but I cant find a way to make them use the hand to hand animations.

Can someone make me a small script that forces the hand 2 hand animation set when the weapon is equiped please?.

In the "Art & Sound" tab setting "AnimType" to "HandToHandMelee" doesn't work?

Or try duplicating the "Unarmed" weapon and using your Katar Models on the duplicate.

If you have tried those already sorry.

I believe Jason's got it right. I don't think a script can accomplish what you're looking for. Try changing the AnimType and see how that goes.

Well I did a test with a dreadric dagger and it didnt quite work as well as I had hoped.

When the dagger was in the left hand it would point backwards, meaning the blade was towards the player.
When the dagger was in the right hand, it was invisible.
Both hands were locked in the hand to hand animations so I couldnt use a katar and another weapon together.

But the dagger did increase the attack speed of which hand it was in.

I assume that the handtohand melee animations are done with empty hands/fists in mind. You most probably need to create new animations/edit the existing handTohand animations for your katars.
