Reanimate: How it works?

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 8:41 am

I've read on the Wiki that Reanimate:

"If the target is dead, reanimate them, putting them under the caster's control."

Now...this description is completely vague, while the scripting synthax is (obviously) quite strict in its interpretation of commands.

Now...

...under the caster's control could mean:

1) PlayerTeammate has be turned to 1 [Unlikely, since also NPCs could use Reanimate]
2) The creature is turned in a Friend or Ally [and its behaviour will be based on its Assistance rating]

...and these are the only interpretations I could give (if anyone has a better idea, please, tell me), but my problem is this:

How I could give a condition to say that a Reanimate creature is under the player's control? IsFriendStatewithPlayer could work?

But how much "friend" is friend? Ally is friend too? Controlled is friend too?

There's any way to understand exactly how that Reanimate archetype effect works? :-?

Thanks,

And...creatures which are Reanimate will give "1" if IsUndead condition is checked?

However...I've taken this decision:

I'll use ownership.
