I took a mode that had the dwemer rifle and with knowledge of it can be done, I made an m16a2, but I have some issues with firing speed and animation...

I saved it on the dwemer rifle because I don't know if you can have data from two of them or how to do that, and I do like the dwemer rifle, but I like mine also and I don't want it to be over-written.

How can I save the dwemer rifle esp as a different one so I can keep my changes from going bye bye? Is it as simple as simply renaming the esp, or copying it and then renaming? I figure if it makes the dwemer rifle quest not work, I can always get rid of that info and redownload the dwemer rifle esp again.
