How do you yield?

How do you yield to someone in a fight? I can't figure it out and I'm getting really tired of having to fight to the death every time I accidentally get in a fight.

Sheathe your weapon, but if you piss them off too much, they won't stop attacking

Join the Empire they will show you.

And be careful of NPCs yielding.Their actions don't match their words.

Sheathing your weapon is supposed to do it but I've seen not one person accept my yielding. Maybe I just have that kind of face...

It's a bit hit and miss, sometimes you need to sheathe/unsheathe multiple times to get it to work

The annoying part is that sometimes it'll never work, getting arrested by a guard always calms everyone down though

I think this is what usually happens to me... oh well maybe I'll just have to learn to be nicer...

Thanks for the help guys!
