Problem with the torch

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 9:29 am

Hello. I have a problem with light again. I want to make a really dark dungeon so I've done this lighting template. Then I put "RemovableTorchSconce01" but something goes wrong, they don't shine.
Here picture.

Did you add any light markers?

EDIT:
Here's what I use for torches:
IceCavern_OrangeFlicker
BlackDoorLightExterior01NS

I believe there are some "presets" used by Bethesda, but I don't like those so I use my own combination.

It's hard to tell from a screenshot, but don't forget to use a flickering one - so that the light moves. Otherwise it would look like an electric light bulb, and living fires don't act that way.

You can play around with scaling the light marker, to make the area it lights up bigger/smaller and mix them with other markers for interesting light effects:

Also works for fireplaces:

Thanks again. My torch was like bulb.
Then I've made my own torch and now it looks great.
