So, when I hit level 75 conjuration I went to Phinis in the College to buy my Expert Robes of Conjuration. Lo and behold, the Master Robes were available as well, and they were less than twice the price of the Expert Robes. I found out that I could purchase and equip the Master Robes at level 75 Conjuration. So, who in their right mind would buy the Expert Robes? There's no point if you can already equip the Master Robes. The Master Robes shouldn't even be available until level 100, but for some reason I can buy and wear them at level 75.

Also, WHY are there no Expert Hoods or Master Hoods in the game? I want a nice matching hood to go with the Expert/Master robes but they don't exist. And also, there are NO half-decent boots or gloves that match Robes as well. Why do the hoods stop at Adept? The selection of gloves and boots for mages is terrible. It makes no sense. I'm thinking it's just something that Bethesda never bothered to put into the game.

Anyone else annoyed by this?

I am not sure why they are available, I believe the loot of vendors is random. So you got lucky.

Isn't the Archmage Robes better?

Probaly because you have another skill that makes you able to buy it don't?Or probaly a bug...don't know i already found "Dremora Lord Tome book" with only 40 skill on conjuration...

I don't want to wear the Archmage's Robes anymore. Someone really needs to make Expert and Master Hoods.

Expert level robes were available to me long before the master ones. Don't remember the level.

On my non Mage character as in never used a spellmans less than 10 on anything I can buy mast garments. Pretty sure it's the leve of your character that unlocks things. Not your skills.
