How many 'blank' do you have?

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 8:07 am

How many of one item do you have. Something you have that has just added up and now you have too many to know what to do with.

I have around 30 or 40 dragon souls. I had around 100+ soul gems, just sold them.
Also I just put the thousands and thousands of iron arrows I had built up until I started using only glass, deadric and ebony arrows. Oh and I have a ton of extra dragon armor from all the dragons I've killed. I just use the scales and bones to make armor on my home from a few days of exploring in Skyrim.

What do you have?

300-400 enchanted iron daggers that are valued at 1.4k~ that I refuse to sell until Bethesda [censored] fix merchants so they carry more goddam gold. I'm level 100 speech with all the perks. I should be able to sell all my stuff within an hour or so. Instead it would take prob a full day (I'm talking real time here) to [censored] around waiting and travelling all over skyrim selling one or two items at a time. Finish the goddam game Bethesda.

What exactly would you do with so much gold any ways? Buy as much training as you can each level?
OT: I don't tend to save up a lot of stuff as I just sell them before it becomes too much but my number of lockpicks seems to be steadily rising as well as my stack of books as I store them away and forget which ones I already have so I keep picking up just about every book I find.

Are merchants supposed to fit in the game world as people, with limited funds and a need to sell stuff on before their cash situation improves after buying a load of stock, or are they player convenience, not part of the world but just an interface for the player, you have been reminded it's a game, not a virtual world things to click on? Yes, that sentence was far too long.

On topic, I keep making Elven armour, and can't bring myself to sell any of it. If any Altmer want to rebel against the Thalmor, my character could supply their whole army. How many? Can't be bothered to check all the containers in both homes. Too many.

I saw someone who had tons of lockpicks above. I'm at 7 or 8 hundred. Funny thing is I hardly buy them. I just checked a few days ago and was shocked.

One thing I don't have a lot of is letters. I sell them all for 0 gold. They make my inventory look really bad. I keep the ones in doing missions on and that's it. Also I sell them because I have the ps3 mb save problem. I find if I have a ton of them and I sell them my save file goes down a little. Storing them in containers or on bookshelves seem to do nothing for the size of my save file. Anyone on the ps3 who has this problem with their save file making the game pretty much unplayable knows how much it svcks and will do anything to help it.

Probably close to 50 dragon bones/scales. Saving them just in case I need to make more Dragonplate/Dragonscale armor.

Oh, and probably close to 500 enchanted daggers/rings worth around 700 each. Yeah... that's gonna make me a lot of gold.

Briar Hearts... if Markarth is retaken by the Forsworn and they stumble across my house, they will [censored] themselves with how many of their leaders I've killed. I have currently hunted down 41 Briar Hearts. Of course, I fill each house with different things.

I have a lot of sweet rolls that I've stolen from people and scattered them throughout my house. My Skyrim wife tells me that I'm a bum, and that I should clean up the house.. How disrespectful of her!

I'm just waiting to get an arrow in the knee by the guards for committing crimes against skyrim and her people so I can retire my adventurous days.

You know that towns that have a trader, usually has a smith. They will buy any weapon or armor, and usually have around 1100 gold, instead of the the traders with 750 gold. In Whiterun, the Warmaiden has around 1100, and the guy inside the store (her husband?) also has around 1100.

And to make things go faster, you can figure out how many daggers you can sell for 1100, so just punch that exact number in instead of selling 2-3 at the time.

Good luck.

My characters usually have around 200-300 lockpicks.

I was carrying almost 200 lbs in weight - took me a while to figure out that a potion weights .5 lbs, and I was carrying about 200-250 potions on me lol - mainly health and magicka.

Sigh, I'm anol about some things.

I have alot of weapons, I could supply an army.

I have tons and tons of food items, carrots, potatoes, beef, leeks, venison, tomatoes, goat legs, red apples, rabbit haunches, green apples, pheasent briasts, salt piles, chicken briasts, salmon, and cabbages. I have not idea of the exact number of each, but I always take food, but never cook it. If I had to estimate I would think I have at least 100 of each. When I get home from a dungeon crawl I just stuff it all in barrel. I could feed your army, let's go take over something. Maybe I will open a fine dining establishment in solitude, what do you think?

Enough weapons (enchanted and not), armour (again, both enchanted and not) and food to arm, clothe and feed an army. Not to mention enough materials to make enough weapons and armour for a large squad and ingredients to make potions and poisons. I would count them, but I can't get to my console :wallbash:
