Nordic Dungeon - no small catacomb connection piece

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 8:28 am

I have been building a Nordic dungeon. Most of my pieces have been part of the Nordic "small" set. I only have 1 large dungeon.

I am looking at the catacomb "smhalls" pieces of the set but none of them can connect to the regular small hall pieces. Am I blind or what? I tried exit small pieces and regular small pieces.

The catacomb pieces are awesome and I definitely want to make a room with these.

but there should be a piece because there are nordic dungeons with catacombs???

You want to connect a Nordic Catacomb small hall to a Nordic Ruins small hall?

NorHallSm1wayEndExSm01 for the Ruins small hall.

NorCatHallSm1wayEndCapExSm01 for the for the Catacombs small hall.

Those worked for me.

the pieces don't really snap together. the 2 pieces go inside each other. the small hallway clips into the catacomb small hallway. I guess this is the only way. I would have never looked at it while in the dungeon.I will have to see how it looks in game.

Right click on the Render Window -> Render Window Properties -> Movement

Halve (or quarter) your Snap to Grid number. They should fit together perfectly.

Edit: At 64 they fit together perfectly for me. If that doesn't work I dunno.

Build it organically. Don't let the lack of pieces keep you from building what you want. There are tons of objects (pillars, rocks, dirt, etc etc.) you can use to make those pieces fit. I do it all the time in my player homes.
