Future housing DLC?

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 8:18 pm

Hi all,

Maybe a what"simish" title, but evreyone who played Oblivion rembers the DLC of "Castle Battlehorn" or something like that.

I would like to have it back in skyrim.
I mean like a long quest line who will give you the possiblity to reconstruct a village or maybe manage a hold.

Its was nice in Oblivion, to come back from adventures and see youre servants and soldiers running around in youre Castle.

What do you think?

I'd like a DLC to rebuild winterhold, then beable to become Jarl and own the castle you created for you.

I am expecting this myself. Battlehorn was great and I miss having my castle bustling with servants, cooks and guards. Everytime I come home to Hjerm it feels so empty

I remeber that in oblivion, they did dlc with housing for most archetype characters.
There was battlehorn for the paladin/warrior type
There was th thieves den, for the smuggler/thief type.
There was this weird magical tower for all the magicka adepts
Also a grotto for the dark assasin/vampire type (Vile lair or something)

but the Idea of becoming Jarl sounds appealing too, they should put this as a reward after the civil war, that for al youre help they offer you a piece of land to hold in youre name, after you swear allegiance to the new high king/Empire of course XD.

...or Helgen. Sadly, seeing as Bethesda never released a "Kwatch Rebuilt" DLC for Oblivion despite this was among the most requested DLC content, I don't think they deem such DLC a product worth investing into.

Hm, if you return after the main quest, you see a couple of bandits who elected home in Helgen.
I don't care for Helgen, it can stay in ruins for me.
Besides in the lore, Helgen doesn't seem to have much importance, so it can stay that way.
