Hello i have been trying to create a new quest to get ownership of an estate but the editor will not create the files for the quest and subsequently will not compile the scripts. I followed the steps on the tutorial page for Bendu Olo exactly except for the names. hit Ok to create the files and the files were not created. the window closed as was expected, i opened it again and began adding the relavent information and i get this error:

Starting 1 compile threads for 1 files...Compiling "QF_AAWaterfallHome_01031972"...d:\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\Scripts\Source\ObjectReference.psc(110,5): unknown type keyd:\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\Scripts\Source\ObjectReference.psc(112,5): type mismatch on parameter 1 (did you forget a cast?)d:\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\Scripts\Source\ObjectReference.psc(112,29): cannot compare a none to a int (cast missing or types unrelated)d:\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\Scripts\Source\ObjectReference.psc(113,3): type mismatch on parameter 1 (did you forget a cast?)d:\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\Scripts\Source\ObjectReference.psc(269,13): unknown type keyNo output generated for QF_AAWaterfallHome_01031972, compilation failed.Batch compile of 1 files finished. 0 succeeded, 1 failed.Failed on QF_AAWaterfallHome_01031972

Uhm, did you edit a script named Objectreference? If it was a huge file with lots of codes, I think you edited the parent file instead of creating your own and extending from the Objectreference script.

No I did not edit any scripts. I dont even know how to edit a script and what I would even write or add. I have absolutly no knowledge on writing scripts or code at all. basic HTML is beyond me. i was copying and pasting the show stage script from the tutorial wich is something I can do though..
