I noticed that kids have hardly any emotions in Skyrim, like when their parents die

They act mad when you try to hit them and happy when you play with them but what if they could do the following??:

Cry when they were sad; rub their eyes and have tears.
Yell when they got mad; then cry
Throw temper tantrums
Yawn before bedtime and stretch
Curious; scratch their heads
Happy; jump around laughing, clap and say yayyy, crack a wide smile and giggle

These emotions and how each character does them adds uniqueness to their personalities, and i love the children in Fallout and Skyrim

I thought this would be about not absorbing a soul if you kill a child with soul trap...but we don't talk about that...

BACK ON TOPIC: yes I agree with you, the children should have those things, at one point in Riverwood I noticed that in the village the first people to wake up were the children, they were in the street playing with the dog by 6AM, when I saw that I thought that was pretty darn accurate.

This thread might get locked sooner or later, I agree but I don't much care, I spend more time in my house or in dark, scary caves or on the roads.

On temper tantrums: Back then, a child would get smart and immediately get pain if you get my drift.

Is it really surprising they have hardly any emotions? No one really has any emotions in Skyrim.

I agree it would be cool, they do have some other interaction than just those... if they see you cast a spell they will ask you to turn them invisible. And then you can lie to them, and tell them they are invisible and they will run around and try play tricks on the other advlts as if they were. That was pretty cool the 1st time I saw it. Also, there is a quest where you rescue a child from the foresworn and everythime you pass a dead body, she will say like ahhh a dead body, and if you missed any enemies on the way in and have to fight on the way out, she will say like I am getting out of here and then run the other way for a while. Also, one of the kids near a mill got scared when a fox ran by real close and got scared and ran and hid in the doorway. I guess my point is they have a little more emotion than you might have seen, just because the right world event has not triggered while you were around them, but giving them even more would be cool.

I though this thread was about children in Skyrim being complete jerks knowing the player cannot harm them.

Yes, they have no soul, in that respect!

Eorland Grey-Mane is always happy when you want to sell stuff to him. Gods be praised.

Spears, crossbows, and thrown weapons were cut so we could have a deeper experience with the weapons that remained. What do we cut to give children their souls?
