Black Wall like problem

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 12:57 am

Hey folks!

Whenever I coc to my new dungeon I have some kind of black wall (its actually grey).

I cant see further than a few meters in most rooms- then a void like, textureless wall goes up.

I never encountered a problem like this before, though this is my biggest dungeon yet and it got water.

Any idea what a solution might be?

Cheers

Does no body ever had this problem as well and found a solution or has the slightest idea whats going on?

I added screenshots for your better judgement.

Update:

I've copied the complete content of the cell into a new one. In this cell the graphical errors are gone, but npcs dont spawn at all. I've checked all referenced etc. There's no flaw. It doesnt make sense to me.

Look in your first cell and activate rooms and portals (view menu->Show/Hide window) and check "Portals and Rooms". Also check "Markers". If you have a room, enlarge it to enclose all your true room.

When you copy a cell content, don't forget the navmesh. And if your npc have ai package linked to your old cell, you have to modify every package to reflect the change.

I did so. Thanks for advice, though!
