im trying to get a follow to use magic

i wanna change this woman in darkwater crossing to a mage, i already added the spells and changed the class to combatelementalmage

i also changed the combat style to cshumanmagic

cant seem to find anything else i can change to make it work

yet ingame she just follows me picking up random weapons and attacking melee without casting a single spell

any ideas on what im doing wrong?

what spell did you add?
some spells don't work it seems...

Has she enough skill to cast the spells?

basic ones the player also uses

and yes shes got plenty of magicka/skill to cast them

in class combat style, try to change the spells bar to 10 (maybe create a new style) and see if the follower can cast spells.
else as you are trying to change a vanilla npc, maybe you choose the wrong one.
i'm trying to learn what determinas which type of spell (right/left/either) can be used by npcs, but the wiki can't help... so maybe this follower just can't learn spell... just a hypothesis...
