Need help with an idea.

I'd like to add the animation used in the kill cam for the 'neck slice' for when you use daggers. I'd like to use this animation as a new way to Feed (as a Vampire) on humanoid NPCs.

The goal here is to create the ability to Feed on NPCs only from Sneaking and while not detected (similar in how you'd move up as a backstab) however if you hit the Use button you'll get a popup window asking you to either Feed or Pickpocket. When you choose Feed the killcam animation will play.

I don't want this to be an instant kill for the Vampire (that will be left to a Perk choice later on in my mod). I just want it to play the animation, reset the feed timer and drop the target ragdoll like. This will expose the Vampire of course if there are witnesses.

So I need help with allowing the VampireFeed Perk to work in the new manner I want it to. Probably this will require a script obviously.

And also how to apply the animation (and where to find it) for the Dagger 'neck slice' kill move.

Why must the Vampire feed on the conscious? If the Vampire were to be noticed, then the Vampire would be chased down and beaten with many horrible Nord weapons. Very bad.

Not because he MUST, but because he CAN. It just adds a bit of depth.

If Vampire did so to J'rahzir, J'rahzir will file charges with the guards. Perhaps show the Nord thane and jarl where the Vampire touched J'rahzir on a small doll.

I like a vampire that's wreckless and powerful. That tempts fate. Not one that always plays at being human. More importantly I play a Vampire that lives in the wilds only entering towns when he needs or wants to.

The most important point of all however is that it adds choice. Choices equal out to freedoms. It is not to say that Feeding on someone in a crowded room will not have consequences. It just means that you can and you can decide how to deal with it.

Besides, where is the excitement of feeding on someone sleeping. I want to grab their throat and rip their flesh!

Ahem.

Please don't make J'rahzir the Vampire's love cushion. J'rahzir will cry. *sad face*

Nah you're fine. I'm allergic to cats anyway.

Yes, worse than Garlic.
