New worldspace - simple question.

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 3:19 pm

When you guys create a new worldspace, click on cell 0,0 and generate a few cells, are you able to save it, then load it in skyrim and run around every cell you've generated?

I am simply asking if that is all it takes to create and load a new worldspace. No other steps are neccesary to walk 128 cells in any direction?

You might want to take your screenshots at day, its a bit hard to tell what's going on. Are you just using the basic landscape editor? And is it that some cells don't load when you're standing on them. or cells in the distance don't load when you're looking at them?

sorry, it's a bit dark but it shows the world just ending.

yes just using the basic landscape editor. cells don't load, at all. Not when I'm looking at them, not when i walk up to them. It loads maybe, 0,0 - 2,2. then the world just disappears after that. In one of those screenshots you can see a log I placed extending out into nothing. it's on a hill that's been cut in half. In skyrim it only loads half a dozen cells or so, then nothing.

Upon deeper investigation it seems that if I COC into my new worldspace within Skyrim, it will only load 25 cells max. two cells in any direction that I coc into. Why should that be?

Anything beyond the two cells in any direction and the world ends. There is nothing. No one else is getting this problem?
