Ok so I made a Nord Character. I gave him some war paint. Every one i talk to says i look sickly and that i should go see a healer. yet i check my gerneral stats and it says that i have no ailments. what gives?

Magic > Active effects the disease should be there.

Either you are not checking your active magic effects, or its a glitch.

The alchemist in Whiterun will always tell you that you look sick. Her way of drumming up business I guess.

yes. if it's a red-colored effect in your "active effects" its always a malady of some kind.

It's funny because the first time she said that to me I really had Ataxia. Not since then though...

I get a disease almost every time a skeever or wolf attacks me. I think I get the vampire disease when a vampire looks at me too...

i had the vampire disease and didnt catch it. turn full vampire, it said sun burned my skin in the upper left. that svcked. EVERYONE attacks you. i had to load a save from 3 hours earlier. after i found out how to cure it. the cure disease potion couldnt cure it cuz it was to far advanced, nor a shrine. i had to go to some guy and do a bunch of crap.

I get that line a lot, yet i have no disease or ailment, yet swallowing a potion of cure disease or praying fixes it. I think we might have somthing, but it fails to show up in the active effects menu.
