CK crashes when adding Targets to Perk Entry Conditions.

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 1:10 am

Just as the title says, whenever I try to add Targets to my Perk Entry Condition the CK gives me an error. Even if I hit 'Yes To All' once I'm done editing and hit 'OK' the CK crashes and my changes are lost.

Happens every time. Gives the following error: "Failed to get owner quests for unknown conditions" I don't know why it's giving that error, my Perk Entry is set as an activation, not a Quest or Ability.

I get that error too, I believe its because the condition it starts selected on needs a quest or something, then I just select the condition I actually want and things work okay.

yeah, this error just suddenly started appearing for me too. Kinda Weird.
Draeka: did you create a new unique magic effect? I noticed most start with things like 'Infl' or 'Conf' When i created a new one i used a prefix 'bdb' and i think that's when i started seeing this error

I get that error at random, but CK never crashes for me. Odd.

Draeka,

If you get an error like that you need to make sure to answer YES to ignore it, otherwise the CK will crash. (I think that's the right one). Same thing happens to me the first time I try to add any conditions on Perks, and Magic Effects. Very annoying if you lose your work because of it.

Edit: Sorry... I just reread your post...apparently more accurately. You mentioned:

Even if I hit 'Yes To All' once I'm done editing and hit 'OK' the CK crashes and my changes are lost.

Once you're done editing, what does your condition look like before you hit OK?
