Ok so I married Aela the huntress and I decided that I wanted to try and get married to someone else, I looked online and everyone said that all you have to do is kill your current wife so I took her to the throat of the world and killed her and yet I still have no option to get re married any ideas why?

Nope ony certain NPC's. Typicaly you have to have done a quest or favor for them, then buy the amulet of mara, then arrange the wedding.

Either their house or one of the ones you purchased. You can change which one by talking to them,
