PathToReference Issue

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 6:17 pm

Hi all,
someone has used the PathToReference Function succesfully?
When i try to use it the actor start to walk and suddenly stop to move, if otherwise the actor has a Travel Package with the same destination all goes well.
Some idea?

I tried to use it on the Whiterun gate guards with the same result. But when I used it on Shadowmere, it worked fine... I'm guessing that maybe the AI packages take priority.

Shadowmere's package tells it to stay at its current location. In other words, do nothing. The guards' packages tell them to stay at specific spots, so they try to get back to that spot as soon as they can.

I think if PathToReference is interrupted, it doesn't RESUME.
So an AI package is generally much better, because it WILL resume (if, for example, the actor enters combat...)

Yeah, it make sense.
Indeed, the actor stop its journey when it is close to an idle.
