Perk POINTS Commands?

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 5:29 am

I was noting the lack of "retalent" mods for Skyrim, which is something I thought I would see pretty quickly after the CK's release. However, looking through commands I think I can see why one hasn't been done.

You can easily remove all the perks from a player through scripting, but there doesn't appear to be a way to give the player perk points, so you couldn't simply remove all the player's perks and give them -1 perk points (remember, you don't get a perk at level 1 ).

But then I saw the Dragon Souls to Perk Points mod, which I think might use SKSE but I haven't really looked. There has to be some way of giving the player Perk Points if that mod works. My question here is whether or not the CK has a function to give just perk points or would I need to use SKSE functions to do that?

Oh, and on an unrelated note, is it possible to create entire new skills from the actor value menu?

There is no command to give perk points

You can not add new skills (or new actor values at all)

To add perk points to a player, you must have SKSE/ScriptDragon/etc

The Dragons Souls mod I think just gives you a menu where you can spend dragon souls for perks. It does not directly giving you perk points.
