I'm lvl 35 and just left Faendal cause he had trouble fighting anything we saw (probably cause I hired him lvl 2 or so)

So I found that guy in Windhelm and he's pretty cool! Talking a lot and deal great damage whit the stuff I gave him.

Anyone else tried him?

Not best follower however...

Followers are leveled (wether they are with you or not), so if you had waited to hire Faendar until now it have made no difference. Faendar's big problem is he prefers his default bow over the superior ones you might give him.

Dead Thralls don't count, especially as your guranteed to lose him at some point as those guys get lost qutie easily. And he gets torn apart by melee enemies way to easy to be useful.

And has low offensive capability as he only uses low level spells. What about Mjior the Lioness who is marked truly essential and can never bekilled.
