"Quick Question" Just Fly Around

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 3:53 am

I know I can use the console commands to fly around in game, but I would like to be able to just fly around, or walk around in the creation kit while editing worldspaces. Is this possible? Can I just walk around on the ground and edit things? I use the creation kit now and movement just isn't very smooth at all. I use the arrow keys, and I teleport 30 meters in what ever direction the key is pointing. I use the shift key with my mouse and I move in a HUGE orbit. I feel like there's a better way that I haven't figure out yet, even after messing around with the movement preferences.

The orbit function orbits the last selected piece, FYI...to pan slowly, hold down the middle button/mousewheel.

Thanks for your input. However it didn't help much.

On another note, MY GOD THIS IS BUGGY.

I tried creating a little village on a little island just to get used to using the engine, and when I reloaded it some of the buildings disapeared, the land was floating above the water someone, and it was just garbage. I tried doing the same thing again, and still the same results, this time different buildings were missing.

I can't believe the game developers put up with these bugs for 2 years without going insane.

The answer to the question is no, you can't edit the game while playing it.
