Quest dialogue not triggering?

I've made several quests in the CK now and so far I would guesstimate this happens on 2/3 quests I create.

What happens is this, I create a quest and put an NPC to have dialogue available at a certain quest. I know all the conditions are correct - I check this at least 20 times whenever the issue appears. I use sqv to check that the stage is correct in-game.
The dialogue should appear on the NPC yet it just doesn't appear. There's no logic or anything, it just doesn't appear no matter what I do. No matter how many completely different saves I load.

One strange thing that usually happens at the same time: If the stages on the quest has objectives which should point to an alias, this won't work either.

My guess is it comes from how I develop things in the CK. Because I'm basically a programmer I like to do a few things, check in-game if it works, go back in to CK and change things, then back into game, etc etc. This probably breaks all sorts of states and conditions and persistence?

This is taking away my will to mod :( The only real fix I've found so far is to completely redo the quest, which feels like so much unnecessary work! Has anyone else had this or have any suggestions how to avoid/fix it?
