I bought the home in Winhelm and I cannot move in nor can I seem to buy any furniture for it, the Stewart doesn''t have the option to buy anything at all.....

I own a home in whiterun and when I tell husband that I want to move there is says he will meet me there but never leaves

that sounds like a big one. I see no one else has a response and im stumped. Also, I know there is an opt to clean up Hjerim (in Windhelm) thru the Steward but if nothins' coming up it has to be glitchy. You cant upload a prev save or anything like that? I would start over. You're probably in the game a ways right? Starting over doesnt really help does it....

You have to solve the quest Blood on the Ice before you can upgrade the house in Windhelm. I had the same problem on one of my characters.
