Sleep Package Not Working.

**SOLVED**

Hey there people,

I'm currently working a Skyrim Hunter Mod its going pretty well so far so I build up a Hunting Guild,
wich also includes a Guild House. So i added some npc's and a merchant. I added A navmesh to the building ect.
Gave the NPC's a package for eating and sleeping, but now at the ingame time they should sleep they stand still! Anyone knows how to fix it?
I did add the navmesh after i added the beds btw.

Does the AI package for sleep define a bed they can use? How did you set it up? Did you use one of the DefaultSleep packages or make your own?
I've also noticed the order that the AI packages are makes a difference but you probably already know this...

Hi Dudster,

First off: thanks for your fast reply !

I used the Defaultsleep package indeed! I will add a screenshot of my AI Package list on one of the npc.
* As you can see I added the location: In Cell: (my own cellname)
** Maybe I should give the NPCs ownership of the beds?
*** Is my package order alright at this moment?
any help and tips are welcome!

SOLVED.

Had to put a reference and ownership on the beds!

Got your screenshot. I'll post your screenshot here so more people might be able to help

I'm not an expert on AI Packages but here's my guess.
  • Don't make changes to the Default packages as other NPCs might use them and you'll affect their behaviour. Duplicate packages, then change them.
  • I think the sleep package should be at the top so click the << button (or >>) to move it to the top.
The way I understand AI packages is that the package first on the list will override behaviour to packages lower on the list.

I fixed the problem it was indeed the order of my package and i needed to Regenerate my navmesh and give the NPC their ownerships on the specific beds!

Thanks agian for your help!

Good to hear!

I can't stress enough how important it is to not change default packages though.
I was creating an NPC at the 'Abandoned Shack', everything was working great. I made some changes to his sleep package then loaded up my game.

Two other strange NPCs (an Imperial soldier and a random Argonian) was suddenly chilling in the shack. I was very confused. I realized I had set this package to seek out a bed in a specific cell, so all the NPCs using this package would go to this cell and look for a bed :D
