Created a dungeon, and found an obnoxious bug.

When entering the dungeon, a user complained that their companion won't follow them into my dungeon. I checked this with my character as well, and the problem persists. If anyone has a solution to this, I would appreciate your help. :(

Yes, and updated the Navmesh of the exterior as well.

This is madness!!!!! Oh well... thanks for letting me know. I thought I needed to restart my mod or something.

Is there a green triangle (in your navmesh) next to the door? I thought the navmesh bug only affected an area once it was loaded and then unloaded. If the follower won't follow the first time the player enters the area, then it's not the navmesh (I believe). Reloading a save just outside the door should tell the tale: if the follower won't go in, it's not the navmesh bug.

Unless I am completely misunderstanding the bug...

I too think you need to finalize the navmesh. place 2 nodes right under the door, inside and out, then in the navmesh menu select 'finalize navmesh'.

The bug had to do with npc's not moving when you left a cell and then came back in. It did not affect entering or exiting the cell. I agree with somnyus and susurruss, and think it is a problem with the finalized navamesh.
