Export FaceGen Data - Faces still grayed...

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 2:38 pm

So I have a few NPC's of mine, and their faces were all grey/blue and crazy looking. I found out about the FaceGen data thing, so; I highlight all of my new NPC's and hit Ctrl+F4 to export FaceGen Data. I click okay and let it finish. I check that the files are there; I'm good to go.

However, when I play ingame they still are offcolor and weird looking. They aren't as weird and blue but still definitely messed up. Am I missing something?

Thanks,

When you say you click Ctrl+F4 and let it finish are you getting a second window telling you it's done? You should be hitting it once and it does it's thing but then it should be popping up with a second window to tell you it's done and asking for another okay. Maybe you should be doing them one at a time. Maybe it doesn't like to batch process them. Have you checked to see if the CK has generated FaceGen data for them? It would be in your meshes and textures file in Meshes\actors\character\facegendata\nameofyouresm and then in Textures\actors\character\facegendata\nameofyouresm.

Oh my god, derp.

Since I make as an esp, and test as an esm I have to change the directories to .esm. I had done that for Meshes, but didn't know it made textures too! (Silly, I know) I have no doubt that changing that directory as well will fix the problem!

Thanks!

Jeeze I need to stop making all these silly errors...

PS. Wow all these FaceGenData meshes and textures alone and are piling the size on my mod... :/
