tutorial to create spawn points?

I just want to place some spawn points in the wilderness for werewolf NPC's. Is there a tutorial on how to do this?

Wouldn't it be kind of short?

"Open area you want there to be a werewolf. Drag Werewolf into the render window."

Unless you wanted them to appear only at certain times?

That might be all there is to it. I've never done this type of modding. I completely do not understand the render window, as I've never been able to get anything to show in it except objects such as weapons. I don't even know what files I would need to look at to find a location.

The http://www.creationkit.com/Bethesda_Tutorial_Layout_Part_1 for layout and world hookup have all the information you would need for that kind of thing...it gets you used to working in the render window.

Skyrim spawn points are based on actors. You can either place an Actor directly into the rendor window, or make a Character Levelled List. In this list you can put all the different actors you would like to have a chance to spawn. Then you make a new actor that uses the Character Levelled List as a template.

It was a little confusing to me to start with, making an actor for a levelled list spawn point, was just used to dragging the levelled list into the rendor window, and getting a ninja monkey spawn point, but it's more powerful, as you can override the spawned actors inventory, stats, etc, etc with different settings if you wish. A good example are the Silver Hands spawn points. They use the Bandit Levelled lists, but have slightly different inventories.
