At the moment, I am working with an activator where I'd like to give it some sort of glow effect to reflect certain boolean status. The crude way I am doing it at the moment, is to place an invisible activator inside it and have it fire a "concentrate" and "aim" spell where the projectile would be the one delivering the visual effects. However, I figured it is very computationally taxing and would like to find a neater method.
Is there one? If not, what projectile would you recommend? I tried a few actually and have yet to find any thing that is quite suitable. The "unrelenting force" projectiles too exaggerated and intensive and I can barely see the effects of lightning and drain projectiles.
Edit: One more thing. It appears that the "akBlameActor" in RemoteCast() is a bit buggy because I've set it as the player and casted hostile spells with that function at NPC's and they do not become hostile.
