Making 2 mods compatable - help needed!

Hi there,

I've been informed that my Real Wildlife mod has some big conflicts with Wars in Skyrim - but I don't know how or why.

I've had reports that it causes 'skating' creatures. Creatures who float about the place, not animating but otherwise 'moving' normally.

I've no idea why this happens. Or how to go about fixing it.

How do I go about making these two mods compatable? Where do I begin?

When I load both mods in the CK - the errors I get are about both mods using the same levelled lists, and the following:

MASTERFILE: LOCALIZATION: Zero entries or empty block size read from strings file STRINGS/WiS IV - Fix
FrostspiderGiant_ENGLISH.DLSTRINGS. Strings will be missing.

I get several simmilar warnings.

Well you could make your own levelled lists and make a quest to manage the swapping in of your own creatures? I presume what happened is that both of you edited the same vanilla levelled list and thus are getting weird conflicts.

Yes, the obvious conflicts are that we both use the same levelled lists to generate creatures from the native spawns in the game. This is so that we don't need to add all new spawn locations, and our new creatures appear alongside the vanilla ones in all the expected locations.

Thing is, wyre bash should fix that, shouldn't it?
