I have chosen the Ralof route but didn't follow him to Riverwood. I wandered around the woods a bit and then came back to Helgen to get some loot I left behind, then traveled south to the province border just to be met by the first invisible wall after a few steps *meh moment*. I followed the route to Riverwood, met Gerdur in Riverwood and talked to just about anyone in the town. Then off to Bleak Falls Barrow to get the claw for Lucan. My first hour gameplay was pretty much equal to the gameplay trailer. What about you?

Dam you did loads in your first hour.

Mine was spent tweeking my Nord Warrior's face and body,

then the next 4 hours were spent getting to riverwood, via some dungeons and a few arguemnets with wolves and picking up lots of flowers.

1st hour was spent in character creation. Second hour was spent chasing butterflies and collecting mount flowers xD

First hour was all character creation and trying to figure out how to turn off the compass and markers. Was not going to have my game ruined with extraneous information overload.

lol, damn butterflies. I'm always like "ok, let's get this quest finished, let's see, just travel straight to Riften OH LOOK A BUTTERFLY *follows butterfly* *finds cave* *gets inside* *forget the quest*"


Did that as well, and also did set the timescale to 6.

After getting out of Helgen and watching Alduin fly away my Wood Elf saw a butterfly and followed it, not to kill it but to admire it. I ended up miles away from Helgen, almost at Markarth. I was suprised that a butterfly would fly that far.

After spending half an hour on my char, I spent the first hour running from a sabrecat in a manner that would make Scooby-Doo proud.

making up conversations in my head about what was said in the cart, creating my character, and trying to figure out why I couldnt loot things

I went with Hadvar... only because I was so giddy with excitement I didn't realise you could follow Ralof. Should have stuck with my Stormcloak buddy

I then sat there mouth open and slightly pitching a tent

I spent some time in Riverwood. I tried to earn some money and get some arrows for my archer. Also, purchase new gear.

I went with the imperial guy and pretty soon when on the quest to get the dragon claw.

Returned to Helgen to pick the bodies, then wandered around admiring the scenery. I kept getting distracted by things like mist rising in the distance and then I had to go check it out. When night fell I ran into a wandering minstrel and made a request. Then I was walking and saw a strange light off in the woods. I headed that way and there was a mage casting spells. I killed her and found an altar with a skeleton on it. I thought "what was going on here?" and "cool all these random things you can just stumble across!" I think I saw some fireflies in the distance and went to check it out. That brought me to the shore of the lake. I wandered through the woods some more until I came upon Riverwood. I just talked to a few people like Ralof and his dad, the shopkeep wanting you to get his claw back, and I did the love triangle sidequest. In time I talked to everyone and looked inside every house, but right now there was just so much to do and see. I headed towards Whiterun next and came upon the Honeybrew Meadery, then after I came out I saved and quit. That was more like my first night of playing. I worked till 5 or 5:30 that day and the UPS truck didn't come with my game till 6.

I spent the first hour in the Character editor.

I first off, customized my Nord, then after Helgen & everything, I wandered into Bleak Falls barrow before the whiterun quest, so then when the mage asked for the dragon stone he was like "WTF?! O.O you already got it?" lol Then I killed some random stuff, cant remember the rest.
