Navmesh: When player is above enemies run to wall and wait i

If the image above isn't clear enough, basically what happens is when I'm above my enemies in my worldspace they run to the wall and stare up at me instead of taking the real path around up to me. I know the navmesh works because if i get them to follow closely they follow me all around the elevated area. Anyone know how to fix this? Also, ignore the obvious problems with some parts of the navmesh, I'm still working on it. Thanks for the help.

Edit:

I think I fixed it. You just highlight the edges of the corresponding high and low navmesh and press p.
