Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 11:12 am

Hello i've been making mods lately and ive changed the damage of a weapon and made a new cell. I was wondering if anyone else new other fun things to do. I would greatly apreciate a answer. Thank you

The Creation Kit is the same tool BethesdaGS used to make the entire game, and you are asking what there is to do with it?

I must be dreaming.

You can do anything you want. What more can you hope for?

Make a house, a dungeon, a quest chain, a new landmass. Make anything you want.

Make a Gulliver's Travels mod. Do one zone where everything is scaled 10-20x larger and another one where everything is scaled 10-20x smaller.

:wallbash: Snap out of it, quickly!

Yeah, you can do whatever you want. Well, like 99% of whatever you want. :P

Why not make a waterfall that flows uphill and call it the mystic waterfall? U can add propeties to it if u jump into the waterfall that replenish all your health, magic and stamina and gives you 20+ levels!

Rots o ruck making a new landmass with just the creation kit...I can't even get anyone to tell me how to make a worldspace that inherits part of the existing worlds' terrain using just the creation kit, and all my attempts to do so have failed.

In all my almost 3 years of modding worldspace parenting is the only thing that I'm still clueless about. As far as I'm concerned it's the most complicated part of the engine. I'm sure it's simple, but it sure ain't obvious.

If you want to use the main landmass, then you build in the Tamriel worldspace. Making a new world space with Tamriel parented will simply use things like LOD data (at least that's what it did back in oblivion. Didn't tinker much with this). Other then that, making a new world space is very much possible.

Except I am planning a MAJOR battle, and would prefer to implement it in a separate worldspace that inherits the terrain so I don't interfere with anything else in that area (Not to mention it's close to the world border, and if I make a separate worldspace with inherited terrain, I can have troops in the nearby region that the player wouldn't normally be able to enter (Not far into it, but at least 50 yards or so)
