Skyrim will DIE

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 4:09 pm

I am Death,

I am a dual wielding heavy armor wearing necromancer. I have a dragon pet. I let the Stormcloaks think i was their ally only because I know they are weak. Once the Empire is toppled I will make my move and one by one, the holds will fall to me and my thralls. I will leave no man or woman alive. Ulfric will be beheaded by my Daedric blades. The children can live, only because they seem to be invincible.

So... after I'm done murdering every single person in Skyrim and taking the Holds for my own pleasure how long do I have before the guards respawn? They are annoying.

Indefinite, as a significant amount of NPCs are unkillable god-kings and you'll never be able to do anything more than force them into a Batman pose.

I like to drag 30-50 dead guards into a large pile and use the ritual stone effect. Preferably out in the open. Takes a while to drag them all into one spot though.

Guards and generic NPCs? Figure on 73 Game Hours for them to start respawning. Don't know if they would all respawn at the 73rd hour.

Just remember, when you go on your killing spree, that you will have eliminated all the NPCs that you can do business with and get misc and side quests from. So, I would suggest you make a forked save so that you can go back to a world that is populated.

Besthesda should have added an option in the settings that made Essentials killable. After all, They did claim that you could clear out entire towns...

And can you really make essential characters killable with the .ini file alone? Someone said it somewhere. No mods required...

I read this wrong. You can't. I usually have them right next to each other in the favorites for quick access though. I use the same type swords in each hand. It is annoying.

Good luck with your crusade, and Talos guide you...eh, or all Daedras inspire you, I mean.
