Items in Inventory - Strange Angle

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 6:12 pm

hey guys...

Does anybody know how to approach the problem that some items, when looked at in the inventory, have a very strange starting angle (e.g. very flat so that to look at it you always have to turn it manually) ?

The gauldur amulet fragments have that problem and I discovered that the short-sleeved DB Armor has the same issue.

Would appreciate any help

Cheers

they probably have wrong orientation values.

you can open these in nifskope and rotate them 90 degrees in the appropriate axes to appear face-forward

No, they have the right position inside nifskope and if I rotated them 90 degrees they would be rotated weirdly when placed in the world

Inventory position is determined by a BSInvMarker in the .nif Has to be manually edited. This is ONLY for objects that have something different than the default position. If that is all that you want, you could try just deleting the BSInvMarker. Or by just typing in 0 in the three Rotation rows.

Alright, thanks a lot!

The BSInvMarker was missing, so it used the default values, I just copied the BSInvMarker from the other DB Armor and now it works perfectly
