Battlehorn Castle like Dlc for Skyrim?

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 3:40 pm

I enjoyed having my own Castle in Oblivion and I would like to see something like this for Skyrim. But If possible I would like to select the area of the world for it to be located.

Ehh, why not..?

However, picking where it would be located is a bit unlikely.

I like this idea, I'd prefer something similar to the Thieves Den (Dunbarrow Cove) from Oblivion though.

Smuggling, a pirate ship and a mighty crew? Yessirrrr. http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?&app=forums&module=extras§ion=legends#

They already stated that the DLC's are going to be fallout - eque, but bigger, so who knows? It may just happen if they add in more to the map.

I want another deepscorn hollow. My own PRIVATE lair of evil. DB sanctuary just doesnt feel as good as Deepscorn did. A castle for my warrior would also be awesome.

Absolutely not. I will not stand for "castle" DLC. Expansion packs, or get out.

No DLC's yeah I know they are in ... It's a shame ...

Not so long time ago you brougth a game and a half year later you did get the first expansion, for hours of playing, a half year after that you did get the second expansion with hours of playing ...

Now you get all kind of strange little dlc's of four hour playing ...

I prefer 2 expansions with 20/40 hours of playing instead of four dlc's with 16 hours of playing ...

But than I am just old ...

I enjoyed the 'house' plug ins as well. I would like something like Fallout type DLCs, but within them, are archetype housing etc. like the OB plug ins.

I think a medium-sized DLC that added several new player houses to the game would be something a lot of players would like.

how about we throw all these ideas into the managemnt of a town and the rebuilding of helgan that was tossed around before. we could rebuild helgan however we see fit (make it your fortress as a warrior, your den as a theif, your refuge as a mage and your lair as an assasin) and alter it however we pleased (build a magic tower in the middle instead of that imperial fort, make a nordic fort if you want, ect.) then we start getting refugees from cyrodiil so we get the option of adventuring down there (just as a way to tie it in with an expansion, of course)

That give several different themes and light quests along with em? yeah I'd hit that. The Vampire lord/Necromancer/Evil Mage/Wizard. The Huntsman/Ranger, the Warrior/Merc/Trophy bearer

That would work. Many plug ins in one, and themed for several 'similar' archetypes.

They could make a kinda Battlehorn Castle type plce that is also combined with the Mages Tower. A multi purpose type of place.

If they do I'd love them to situate it in Winterhold. That place seems so dull since the majority of it fell into the sea and the dovahkiin / hero having his new tower / castle / mansion built in what is the former capital of Skyrim would bring a bit of life and activity back to the place.

Great idea! Would be really nice if they implement something like that in a future DLC.

yh good idea. I'm all for seeing places rebuilt or brought back in games. I was hoping for a rebuilding of Kvatch in Oblivion.

The DB Sanctuary houses a 300 year old talking corpse tied up to a wall, half rotten and optionally a necrophiliac jester who seems to have a deep interest in said corpse, constantly fondling it. How more evil and creepy do you want it to get?

Honestly? I like the idea mentioned earlier, of themes related to similar builds.

If that jester were a little girl who said everything in a sing-song voice.

Well, he kinda does already. He's just not a little girl. But you always have Babette for that role.
