Black Sacrament Armor pack

Yes I recently downloaded the Black Sacrament Armor Pack. Love the Armor, but I kinda dislike the fingers not being covered up by the gauntlets. So I went into nif to change the texture path from skin male & skin female to that of the BS Shrouded Gauntlets. But unfortunately all the Armors seem to use the same mesh just different texture packs or something like that through the CK. So in game with the BS Shrouded Gauntlets on the fingers are still the skin texture. How would I go about changing the skin texture to use the one of the BS Shrouded Gauntlets instead?

The gauntlets mesh file is in BSarmor, but in the ck, the gauntlets mesh path looks like this.

armor\dcvrworks\bsarmor\f\gauntlets_1.nif. But it uses the Shrouded variations texture instead of the default one.

And the texture path looks like this

armor\dcvrworks\bsarmo5\gauntlets.dds

With the mesh being use multiple times, by different id numbers & texture paths. How can I change it with nifskope or the CK to use the modified nif for the shrouded gauntlets? Not sure to post this here or in the mod forums. As it's related to CK but also Nifskope.

I used texture sets in the CK to override the nifskope settings.

Open it up in the CK, go to object window and scroll down until you see the category for texture sets, then do a search for "bsarmor" it will list all of the texture sets used for this armor.

Oh ok, So say if I deleted the texture set for say the chainmail which is the base Armor correct? It will instead use the one I changed in nifskope?

yes.

although keep in mind any changes you make will be overwritten if you ever update to a newer version in the future.

this is why it is better to use a texture set on a separate esp, so that you can always load your custom esp after the BSA files, and your changes will always supercede the original files without having to redo it each time.
