Cleaning the scripts folder?

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 10:57 pm

Does anyone else find the urge to need to clean their scripts folder? I really miss the days when scripts were stored directly in the ESP to be honest...

I find that I am often removing or renaming scripts within my mod for the sake of having better naming conventions, and I've done so to a point to where that folder is bloated with unused scripts. I'm of course able to manually search and delete the scripts, but I've found on several occasions that I missed one, or deleted the wrong script by accident (not a big deal, as I had it backed up, but still...) I just wish that there was an easier way to delete scripts from within the editor itself. (IE: instead of "remove script" I'd be able to "delete script"

Anyone else running into this issue? And if so, what do you do about it?

Sort by modified date and anything official should be clumped together.

Ooh, not bad. It's so simple, dunno why I didn't think of that.

Yes, but if you like to make random scripts to do a variety of things, it's also nice to have a library of scripts accessible to any mod.
