Anyway to mod weapon driftscreen movements on attack?

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 6:20 pm

I notice that this is used slightly when doing powerattacks, I was wondering if this effect was able to be increased or decreased? I.E. some weapons have pretty little screen shake while others have quite a bit more, especially when power attacking. I want to be able to alter how much this effect happens, but unsure where to look. Couldn't find any actor values or GMST's that might relate to this, on a quick look-over.

I think that is tied to the animations played when attacking. To alter it, you would have to edit the animations. (If I'm correct.)

Thanks, I'll start looking there. With any luck I can alter some of these things on the fly with Papyrus.

Yeah, if they're tied into the animations like I think, the ONLY way to alter them is to alter the animation file, and reanimate the camera.

Hmmm shame. Looks like I'll just have to do without :P

Or somehow fire off a stagger effect on the player at the same time an attack happens. I know how to mod stagger and play stagger animations on enemies, but I've got no idea how to fire a player stagger. Not sure if too possible. Maybe I could use the Cast function on the player from whatever the drauger shouters use at the same time an attack is performed to cause a small stagger/screenshake effect.
