The point?...... I wanted to post it. Are those 'issues' psychological ones?

No. People unhappy about something are just more likely to speak out then people happy with something.

Of course, because all the lovers are out playing the game.

Not sure how you can transform that into this forum being more popular than the game...

Millions of people playing seems to ourweight thousands of people complaining (to me).

And this is comming from someone who isn't too happy with Skyrim himself.

There are far more haters of haters, which is also far less productive.

meh, I got the main quest broken on my first char...just started over with another, now I'm playing a third one.
no psychological breakdown yet, everytime I see something broken or not working I just think of Gothic 2 and 3 and don't care, Skyrim is pure gold in comparison

They should just start banning all the haters. Or give them their own section to hate it. It svcks that the fans of the game have to read and flip through all their whiney buIl[censored] just to find some postive or good information on this game.

Its always the same people crying about the same stuff over and over and over and over...lol.

Not really.

Steam says: current players = 79,030, peak today = 100,121 (<- number of simultaneous PC-players at a given time)
Forum says: 269 + 97 + 60 + 38 + 93 + 176 user(s) are browsing these forums. (The last number being the mods forum)

For the most part, Forum whining is from a Vocal Minority, satisfied customers tend to just be quiet. It's pretty much true for any game that isn't complete joke.

Some people have a point, PS3 version needs to be fixed, it's still more playable than Two World 2 (that game ran like a fecal snail out of the box). And some people have their head up their asses, Seriously, Skyrim has no right to call itself an RPG, who died and made you Royal Arbiter of the video game universe?

So you want a forum full of

"Wow this game is swell"
"Golly Gee, I just found a Dwarven helmet"
"This game sure is better than good"

Besides, it's not like it's hard to tell whether a thread is negative or positive from the title.

If I saw any thread with a tittle like that, I'd assume they are complaining to be quite honest... Sarcasm and all

It was..

On Topic: Humans are strange strange creatures, and even thought they supposedly hate something instead of staying away from the object of their misery they will cling on to it even tighter.

Just ignore 'em. Its not exactly hard.

There's constructive criticism as well. Skyrim ain't perfect.

Though yeah, there's some haters on here. Best to just ignore them. They're only looking to flame and be negative anyhow. Just like the thread topic here is just flame bait.

I'm hoping to find some constructive criticism, it must be like finding a four leaf clover and bring good luck.

It is quite easy to find the positive and interesting topics here too. As always I think many new to the internet (and even those not so new) forget what a forum is or why it was originally invented. Dictionary definitions are a good start.

Like the guy who says Skyrim shouldn't be this or that (despite what it's creators think) people have highjacked or falsely dictated what forums were created for, and insist that all other posters be erradicated immediately. Forums have rules you shouldn't break but apart from that, anything goes, if it's on your mind and you want to discuss it.

Interesting read.

What surprises me is the number of players who find one thing wrong with - or in - the game and stop playing.

Read a post this morning where someone complained about a certain sword - said it was a gamestopper for him.

I mean, paying $60.00 US, and stop playing because of one item not being there at a certain level, or not being to your liking.

But, I see several threads each week where players say the same thing, basically.

If a game can do something like that to a person, I sometimes wonder how their personal life is going - since choices you make there are more serious in nature, and/or result.

Sure, I have complained about the game, but it was a game-breaking issue that happened during installation and was resolved 4 days later by another player. Since then, some CTDs, and other minor issues, but overall a great game, wide open, and extremely fun to play

But to stop playing over one item - that's a bit far out IMO.

Criticism encourages improvement, praise encourages stagnation.

In other words, you should be thankful that so-called "haters" are around to reflect upon less appreciable aspects of games so the next installment can include improvements. Just imagine if nobody had spoken about the awful zoom-in-on-face conversations in Oblivion and had instead cheered and praised about the game and we were stuck with that system again, as an example.

Edit: here I am referring to those who constructively criticize the game, of course. There's the occasional dimwit who will make random jabs at the game without much good intent but they are a minority.
