LOD not loading anymore Help?

Iam having a weird issue now ... I regenerated the lods , the landscape looks ok , but then I can't see the Objects lods , so I regenerate the objects and ... when I reload the map the landscape now is not visible but the lods are .... reversing again and I can't see the lods but I can see the landscape .. what's going on here? they did update again somehow the ck and I didn't see? Or I am making something wrong?

I just followed the normal procedure ... created the landscape lods , installed properly , created the objects lods ( altough dont look good ) but installed properly then I can have either one or the other ...

Here is what is happening ....

If I regenerate the lod settings then the landscape comes back but the lods do disappear .. what's wrong here?

I am stuck landscape lods don't load anymore if lods are generated ( objects ) and if I replace the lod settings then the Object lods are not visible and the landscape is ... any help woudl be appreciated otherwise I will waste weeks oftime trying to figure out whats wrong with the CK ....

Ok here is A detailed description of the Problem and the sequence of things I did for the lods :


1 In my Issgard worldspace folder I delete all the lods form objects , trees and basic folder where the landscape btr and nif lods are stored , I deleted them all ....
2 In my Issgard worldspace folder I delete the dds textures in the object folders and in previous folder all the textures related to the lods of terrains
3 I delete the lodsetting file
4 I openoscape and regenerate all the data and extract the landscape data , generating the terrain , putting as usual all the landscape to max res , once computed I click install
5 I generate the lodsettings file setting :Issgard -32 -32 64 and ( even if in world I can see some cells are beyond the -32 border , but the oscape always generate them between -32 etc ... )
6 I load the game in CK , the landscape looks fine , apart that the objects lods are missing so I go to object World LOD window and I select objects and trees for Issgard worldspace and click generate .
7 I pick the textures generated in the Issgard object subfolder in the Source external folder and paste them into the skyrim data terrain Issgard objects folder
8 I relaunch the CK , the Landscape now is disappeared but I have all the lods for all the objects , they load in place of the Objects lods ( they are still bugged with switched textures ... )

9 Retest switching the order and keeping the objects lods done and regenerate the landscape lods , no change
10 I redo the lodsettings and the objects do disappear again but the landscape is back
11 I redo objects lods , the objects come back the landscape disappear ...
12 Loop cycle between point 9 and 11 .....

What's Wrong here?!!!

Post the contents of both versions of the .lod file in hexadecimal and then we can find out.

It doesn't work , it does the same thing as the Oscape generated LOD or the One generated with the Lod generator , the Distant "objects" do not load ... have you taken a look to the files I posted above? Coudl it be due to the fact that the map after working in CK is no more a square? but has some cells out of bordeR?

Do you first load the game in the vanilla game and then teleport to your land, or do you have a savegame directly in your land that you load?

I do not load any game , I load the CK landscape , the problem is in the CK , I didn't even òpad the game

I can either Load the objects , if the lod is generated by the CK or I can load the landscape if the lod is generated througt the lod generator or Oscape ... same with ur file goes with the last two ....

What I can do ? I am really starting to get pissed off at this problem and tempted really tempted to send all my modding time to hell !

sorry for the rant but I have no idea what to do now ...

Don't always go by what's visible in the CK. Try it ingame to see if it's working.

That's a pretty silly answer. People don't play the game in the CK. You could be running low on memory and the CK is cutting back on the amount of visible objects that it can display.

If it's not working ingame, then you have a problem. You can't judge by what the CK displays.

I tried deleting cells and .... I can't even delete cells , So I am "f?§*°d" ?

I cant delete cells , I cant create lods , I cant's replace one or the other , I need them to work as befoure I can't believe why I can't get both loaded at the same time ,, something is wrong probably with this LOD file that is badly generated by the CK overriding my landscape ... and if I generate with the other tools they override the Objects ... what the ..sfs3ed should I do ?

Well there was , because ... I fixed it ....

Now the lods work again , My assumption that Removing the extracell flood beyond the quad border was right ... it caused a mismatch in the lod file settings m I noticed this by examining with a hex editor and I noticed thatthe LOD generated by the Oscape and the Lod generator took the actual size of the heightmap -32 to 31 , while the CK created a LOD that comprised also "visited" loaded cells but with nothing inside , so extended the size span from 64 to 128 , nooticing this I hexedit with tesVsnip and I coudl fix it ...
