If you do all the 'additional jobs' to regain the influence for the thieves guild Tonillia has 4k gold.

I'm not sure of any 'normal' business people with that kind of money.

TG fencers have heaps of gold, yeah.

And if you use the Investor perk, the Riverwood Trader can glitch and have 12k.

After reaching Stage 4 of the Thieves Guild (all four shops in the Ragged Flagon,) then every guild fence has 4000 gold.

I recommend him fully, you should definitely invest in Speech if you don't plan on doing the TG.

I'unno, in the long run I find spending points in Speechcraft to be kind of a waste since after a certain point you stop spending gold like it's going out of style, and you already collect gold like it's coming out of a broken faucet anyway.
