Map Marker is Pointing to the wrong location.

Here is what I did and what my problem is. There is a shop in Falkreath called Grave Concoctions. I dulplicated the cell, and gave it a unique id. I put the same type of exterior shop up near riverwood where my quest character is. I put a door to it that leads into my newly made cell(which is the copy of grave concoctions). Then in my quest I made an alias to my specific character. Now when my quest gets to that stage, instead of pointing to the character in my shop, it points to Grave Concoctions in Falkreath!!! I have tried setting up my alias differently, in fact I have tried many things. Does this have something to do with the fact that I duplicated the cell? Or something to do with the doors?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Edit:
I have tried replacing the doors, and the same thing happens.
I have tried moving my reference actor outside, and it works normal.
It has something to do with the cell I duplicated. I could make a brand new cell from scratch, but there must be a solution to this problem?

Probably something attributed to the cell from copying it. Check there?

Yes...as I stated I figure it has something to do with that. But I have checked all the required fields and I cannot understand the problem.

I'm a little confused, but I'll have a go.

Was "the character" in the cell that you duplicated? Did you duplicate the "character" (actor) as well as the rest of the interior? (idk if you can even do that, btw!)

But, if you have Aliased the correct character, then pointing to it as an Objective Target - in your quest - shoulkd make it poiint to where-ever the character is located.

You may have to explain a bit more about what you are doing ...

when you added the doors, did you finalize the navmesh?

because if you duplicated the cell with the same navmesh, even though the navmesh itself becomes a new reference object, the nav info most likely still has info that points to falkreath's exterior.

so when the quest calculates the shortest distance to your character, it will point to the original store, since it thinks the store is still located in falkreath due to the false navmesh info

finalizing the navmesh with your new door will update the info and place it in the correct location in the world
