When creating a new NPC character is there a way to set your character's exact height?

Great! Sorry that came across as a stupid question, but I've yet to even get my new computer let alone get to play PC Skyrim. Just asking now so I can make plans for my character creation.

I have used this myself for NPCs...I found that if they operate some equipment..say like a forge..the tall ones shrink to use it...the short ones grow...when they finish using it, they revert to their starting size. Never found a way to fix it so I worked AROUND it (business as usual with the CK eh).

Just thought you might wanna know before you are weeks of effort into your mod and THEN discover this heh.

The incredible shrinking, growing and shrinking people! Sounds like a bit of a problem. How on earth do you "work round" that sort of glitch?

Well, as I said it is a work AROUND hehe. I just made my taller people the ones who never interact with anything but the player and mixed the sizes up a little so that the 'regular-sized' NPCs operate the machinery. Could be a better way or a fix I just didn't have the time to test this anymore than I did.

Maybe rework the body movements of the shorter/larger characters so they have to reach up or down to use the object in question? For example, a really short character like a Hobbit would have to, not only reach up, but maybe even get on tip-toes to use the item. Is that possible to mod a character's movements like that?
