Hi, I'm Kaneydien. I've just started to learn to mod with the CK.

I am enjoying it, but I have certainly come across my fair share of problems. I have figured out most of them on my own, but for some of them I cant help but think that the learning would be easier with other people to share problems and ideas with.

I am proposing that if anyone wants to join my group we can get a blog going where we share our experiences, problems, and even chat (I have a vent server) on a daily basis.

Anyone interested?

No need to make a blog about it. That's what this forum is, we're all beginner's in the eyes of the Almighty (Bethesda) and our ideas and experiences shared here help shape many of the mods out there right now.

Hey thanks for your input, but I find a lot of questions go unanswered in the forums. Besides which I'm looking to make some friends that could lead to some joint mod making opportunities.

Though I do agree that the forum is the best place for learning and finding answers. You're certainly welcome to make your own place, just keep in mind you probably wont find nearly as much assistance as you would get here. There are a lot of us that have been around for years that happily answer questions. Though of course, we are people too, many of us busy with our own projects, so we can't answer ALL of the questions.

Good point. Users like you and Redwood, Martigen, RandomNoob, etc. are why you're better off waiting for a reply here than hoping someone else in the same position as you (a beginner) can agonize their way through the issue at hand.

I am simply looking for a small group of people that are just learning to mod that want to chat, discuss, and learn together. If you fall into that category, please post or PM me.

I'm not trying to deter you from making that group. I just want to make sure that you also continue to visit the forum, as it's the best spot for getting answers, in my opinion.

I never said I intended to stop using the forums lol. I just find learning with others the best way to learn.

It features a group chat in which you can discuss modding with each other.

I think blogging about your learning experience is a great idea, and it can help others who are runing into the same problems. There are several ways to share information, and forums and blogs are both good, but in different ways.
I'm quite new at modding and have to fingure a lot of things out from the begining, the people at this forum is a great help. What is sometime missing is a more collected infomation, where a good wiki for example would be good. And more indept information, the kind you get when you have really studied a problem.
If nothing else, I find that when my project has been dorment for a while it's really good too go back in the log just to remember how I actually did thing, and why thing work that way
