Awhile ago someone had a great idea about how you should be able to name your horse cause it'll add character and a sense of attachment to it, i think the same would go for weapons. It would be cool you could name a a bow you've used for the longest or a sword thats gotten you out of some jams...just a thought.

You can by enchanting. Name everything you enchant.

Lol don't worry we all probably had at least one thing where we were like "oh you can do that".

Mine moment was level 30 when I realized on console that you can pull up your favorites and press and hold left or right on the DPad and hotkey and item to those keys. I had no clue. I immediately hot keyed a torch to the right and a bow to the left, torches are a habit from Oblivion even though you don't need them really. It made the game so much easier to play. I would have a sword and sheild equipped and decide I wanted to do a stealth attack and I would just press the left key and boom there it was my trusty bow. The best part was when I hit right again for my torch my sword or whatever else I was using before would automatically equip itself. Also putting health potions into the hot key saved me a few times fighting a boss or multiple enemy's. I would hit the right key and it would use a potion and give me health.

Just give it an enchantment and you can give that sword of yours any name you want.
