I have been playing skyrim on my ps3 off and on since nov 2011. The only problems I have encountered are the water bug (easy fix) and having couriers show up naked and freeze game (also easlily fixed). So yesterday I decided to join the legion and started doing the quests. I made it up to the battle of whiterun and after I defeated the stormcloaks and the Jarl gave the victory speech the game auto saved.Now the problem is if I try to open the gates to whiterun or fast travel, it just stays on the loading screen and keeps displaying different tips/facts. If I try to wait time it just freezes. If I leave on foot or horseback,I can make it a few minutes away then the game freezes.

Does anyone have a fix for this? Luckily I do have a save file from 2 days ago,but I would like to not lose that work if possible. TY
