How to make vertical sarcophagus open?

As part of a scene I need a vertical sarcophagus (NorSarcophagusVertBottomSecret) to have it's lid (NorSarcophagusVertTop001) fall off, but I can't seem to make it work.

I have a Timer in my scene with this script fragment on it:

Sarcophagus.PlayAnimation("SarcophagusTopVert01_Trigger01")

I've declared the variable 'Sarcophagus' and directed it to the lid in question, but ingame nothing happens. I figure I'm probably just missing something silly... (It always is with me :tongue:)

I once heard that sarcophagi with lids can have their lids blown off by unrelenting force. If that's true, a simple small magnitude ApplyHavokImpulse should do the trick.

Is a template one setup in the WarehouseTraps cell? (I think there is one of the horizontal positioned type in that cell, rigged with an activator ... don't remember if there was a standing one, though)

Now that is a mighty good idea!

Found a vertical one in the Warehouse ambush cell, and traced linked refs back to the lvl'd creature. It's script has a section for this. Aparantly you just activate the lid and it pops off. So, I'm going to try that. Sure seems like I overthought this... :P

I'll report back if this doesn't work.

It didn't work, but I made the activating ref the player and I think it may stop the player from activing the lids, so I'm going to try again with the action ref as my NPC instead.

Activating with the NPC instead of the player worked. :D
